At one time it was the first defence against the French, but now the harbour is the starting point for more peaceful summertime invasions of the French ports of Carteret, Portbail and Grainville. Close by is the Royal Jersey Golf Club.
Their restaurant has a long-standing reputation, but we are especially proud of our Egon Ronay, Michelin Ashley Courtenay and Good Food Guide recommendations, Seafood is a speciality. Open all year.
