The Airtel Vodafone Portuguese Food Festival returns on Thursday 23rd August, giving a healthy dose of Portuguese food and drink to St. Helier’s waterfront until Monday 27th August.
The festival will be opened by Mr Carlos Santos-Costa, the Portuguese Consul to Jersey, at 6.00pm on Thursday 23rd. For the first year, the festival is being run as a non-profit event by the St. Helier-Funchal twinning committee. Locals and visitors to the island are definitely in for a treat!
Venture down to the waterfront and enjoy fresh Portuguese seafood, espetadas, cataplana stews and drinks, as well as local music, a karaoke competition and a raffle.
