All of our flights and package holidays are financially protected. Some single travel services available from us may not include financial protection.
Some of the flights and flight-inclusive holidays available on this website are financially protected by the Civil Aviation Authority’s ATOL scheme. When you buy an ATOL protected flight, or flight inclusive holiday from us, you will receive an ATOL Certificate. This lists what is financially protected, where you can get information on what this means for you and who to contact if things go wrong.
ATOL protection does not apply to all holiday and travel services listed on this website so please ask us to confirm what protection may apply to your booking. If you do not receive an ATOL Certificate when completing your booking, then it will not be ATOL protected. If you do receive an ATOL Certificate but not all of the parts of your trip are listed on it, those parts will not be ATOL protected. Please see our booking conditions for information or for more information about financial protection and the ATOL Certificate go to: www.caa.co.uk/atol-protection.
We, or the suppliers identified on your ATOL Certificate, will provide you with the services listed (or a suitable alternative). In some cases, where neither we nor the supplier are able to do so for reasons of insolvency, an alternative ATOL holder may provide you with the services you have bought or a suitable alternative (at no extra cost to you). You agree to accept that in those circumstances, the alternative ATOL holder will perform those obligations and you agree to pay any money outstanding under your contract to that alternative ATOL holder. However, you also agree that in some cases it will not be possible to appoint an alternative ATOL holder, in which case you will be entitled to make a claim under the ATOL scheme (or your credit card issuer where applicable).
C. I. Travel Group is a member of the Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA), meaning that you have the benefit of ABTA's assistance and Code of Conduct. Many of the travel arrangements that we sell are protected in case of the financial failure. Please contact us if you would like to know more about the protection that applies to your booking.
ABTA protection also means that if your package holiday cannot go ahead due to travel restrictions, border closures, an unprecedented weather event or because part of your trip is no longer available, you are entitled to either a suitable alternative of the same value, or to claim a full refund to be paid in a timely manner.
ABTA and its members help holidaymakers to get the most from their travel and assist when things don't go according to plan. We are obliged to maintain a high standard of service to you by ABTA's Code of Conduct.
For more information on ABTA, the Code of Conduct and the arbitration scheme available to you if you have a complaint, please contact ABTA, 30 Park Street, London SE1 9EQ. You can also call ABTA on 020 3117 0500, or visit www.abta.com.
