Known as Havre des Pas, the residential area around The Ommaroo was built in the Victorian era as a seaside resort. The sea swimming pool is as popular today as it was when it first opened...in 1895. Also take time to admire the spectacular tidal range: the island doubles in size at low tide, a phenomenon best observed on the south coast.
