Barge Aground sits in the rugged landscape of the dunes in Jersey’s only national park, close to a beautiful nature reserve. You can take many walks through fields of native orchids or along the beach, spotting the wildlife that calls this area home - watch out for the marsh harriers who hover over the area!

Accommodation

Two identical, adult twin bunkrooms are located in the ‘stern’ of the property while the kitchen and bathroom adjoin the large lounge/diner. There is a double sofa bed in the ‘prow’ of the building.

Living Facilities

The Barge Aground has been lovingly restored in its original 1930s style, including period furniture and walnut floors. The property is approached via a large area of grassland and features a terrace with direct access to the beach.

Tableware, cutlery, glasses, cups for six guests, basic cooking utensils and cookware are all provided.

Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided.

TV reception is poor in this area but a picture is possible with strategic placing of the aerial.

Location

The Barge Aground is on Jersey's west coast, sitting between a beautiful grassy National Park area and the island's longest sandy beach.

Staying with your dog

Dogs are accepted on a request basis and charged at £10.00 per stay.
