The Elizabeth Castle Apartment is a truly unique place to stay. Sleeping up to six people within the walls of this historic Jersey landmark, the apartment is ideal for short getaways and longer holidays in Jersey.
When the castle gates close in the evening you’ll have the whole place to yourselves, making this one of the most exclusive properties in Jersey.
When booking Jersey Heritage properties, please note that one member of the party must be over 25 years of age.
Self Catering: from £981 per week (low season) and £1631 per week (high season) based on sharing
Over two floors, the apartment is in the old barrack block off the parade ground. The main bedroom can sleep up to four people and the large lounge has a double sofa bed.
Tableware, cutlery, glasses, cups for six guests, basic cooking utensils and cookware are all provided.
Bed linen and bathroom towels are supplied.
Due to its location the apartment is only accessible by foot at low tide (a 15 minute walk) when the castle is closed to the public. During castle opening hours, 9.30am to 5.30pm, an amphibious vehicle runs at high and low tide every 30 minutes.
Elizabeth Castle is open as an attraction to the public from April through to November. All trips on the amphibious vehicle are free of charge to Heritage Holiday guests. The amphibious vehicle service runs from April through to November but the service may be cancelled in extreme weather conditions. An onsite café is open during castle opening hours.
At the time of your booking, please discuss your travel arrangements with us, and we will speak to a member of Jersey Heritage staff. They will be able to advise on tide times and the amphibious vehicle service to the castle. Two members of Jersey Heritage staff live at the castle in a separate apartment.
Please note that this hotel does not have a lift.
Elizabeth Castle is located on its own island, in the middle of Jersey's St. Aubin's Bay.
