Accommodation
Over two floors, the apartment is in the old barrack block off the parade ground. The main bedroom can sleep up to four people and the large lounge has a double sofa bed.
Tableware, cutlery, glasses, cups for six guests, basic cooking utensils and cookware are all provided.
Bed linen and bathroom towels are supplied.
Elizabeth Castle Details
Due to its location the apartment is only accessible by foot at low tide (a 15 minute walk) when the castle is closed to the public. During castle opening hours, 9.30am to 5.30pm, an amphibious vehicle runs at high and low tide every 30 minutes.
Elizabeth Castle is open as an attraction to the public from April through to November. All trips on the amphibious vehicle are free of charge to Heritage Holiday guests. The amphibious vehicle service runs from April through to November but the service may be cancelled in extreme weather conditions. An onsite café is open during castle opening hours.
At the time of your booking, please discuss your travel arrangements with us, and we will speak to a member of Jersey Heritage staff. They will be able to advise on tide times and the amphibious vehicle service to the castle. Two members of Jersey Heritage staff live at the castle in a separate apartment.
