The family run Water's Edge Chalets are situated in the heart of Bouley Bay on Jersey’s north coast, with views across to the French coastline.

The beach is a few minute walk away. For the energetic the north coast cliff path walks are right on the doorstep.

Bouley bay dive centre, located beneath the hotel, is a PADI 5 instructor development centre offer a range of diving courses from entry level to instructor. They also offer escorted dives for those already qualified. They can also provide paddle board lessons and rental. In the summer months Hatha Yoga sessions are also avaialble.

Arrival & Departure Days

Arrival and departure is available on Saturdays only.


The apartments are on two levels. On level 1 there is a fully equipped kitchen and dining area with oven and hob, washing machine/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster. There is also a spacious lounge with freeview TV and a terrace with sea views.

On level 2 there are two bedrooms. Bedroom one is a double with ensuite shower/toilet and private terrace with sea views. Bedroom two has 2 single beds, plus an option for a 3rd pull out bed for a child. there is also a separate family bathroom with toilet, bath and overhead shower.

Please note that there is no lift access.


Bouley Bay is locally renowned for the steep winding road leading down to its miniature harbour packed with colourful fishing boats. The Bouley Bay Hill Climb takes place every year at Easter along the series of hairpin bends but the Water’s Edge Hotel is otherwise a peaceful coastal destination, away from the busy town and traffic.

The stoney beach is popular with swimmers and kayakers. There is a pontoon in the bay, for kayakers, swimmers and children to enjoy during the summer season.

Mad Mary's Beach Café is open 7 days a week during the season, serving sandwiches, burgers, cakes, ice creams and drinks.
