About 30 Bays in 30 Days
In July 2016, Jersey Hospice Care and National Trust for Jersey joined forces to create a month long event to raise much needed funds at the same time as discovering the wonderful beaches in the island.
Over £20,000 pounds was raised during the event in 2019.
The whole concept celebrates the fact that we are lucky enough to have so many amazing places to go sea swimming. Simply sign up and start planning which beaches you will visit on which days. 30 strokes in each bay is all that is required and you can complete the challenge and tick of the bays at one a day or in whichever way best suits you.
Opening Group Swim
The opening swim will take place at St Brelade's Bay at 10.00am. Registration opens at 9.30am.
As well as being able to meet up with fellow swimmers, you will be handed your fab swimming hat.
Celebration Group Swim
On 31st July there will be a group swim at St Brealde's Bay at 6.00pm to celebrate your completed challenge and to share your experiences with your fellow swimmers. Don't forget to bring your swimming hat!
