Anne Port Beach

About Anne Port

Situated on Jersey's east coast, Anne Port is a small but perfectly formed sand and stone beach that enjoys beautiful sunrises and is a popular early morning sea swimming spot throughout the year (pack your wetsuit during the colder months!). Anne Port’s calm and sheltered shallow waters make it a great spot for kayaking and paddle boarding beginners, and for the more adventurous Anne Port is a great starting point to explore the arresting exterior of nearby Mont Orgueil Castle from sea level.

The bay is overlooked at its southern end by a commanding rock face known as Le Saut Geoffroi or ‘Geoffrey’s Leap’ where legend has it that ancient executions once took place!

Anne Port is on the main coast road and can be accessed by car or bus. There is limited parking on the roadside and the top of the slipway, but beware of high tides. Facilities in the bay are limited but there are public toilets available. The closest shop or café can be found at Archirondel or in Gorey.
