Jersey has gone wild about gorillas this summer!
In celebration of Jersey Zoo's 60th Anniversary, 40 life-sized and 45 young gorilla sculptures have been placed around Jersey. All Gorillas have been designed and painted by artists with sponsorship from local companies.
Follow the trail and discover all 85 gorillas whilst enjoying the beautiful and inspirational scenery in which they have been placed.
If you don't have access to the app, download the Go Wild Gorillas Map to get started.
Should you prefer to follow the trail at a more energetic pace, this Strava Cycling Route (approx 90k) will be just what you may be looking for!
The trail is available until 14th October, after which the Gorillas will be re-located to Jersey Zoo where they will be displayed between 1st and 4th November, before being sold at the Grand Gorilla Auction on 6th November. Money raised from the auction will help build a new home for the beloved gorillas at Jersey Zoo.
