About Longueville Manor Restaurant

Although fine dining is at the heart of Longueville Manor, special requests are commonplace, kids are well looked after and casual dining is always an option.

During the summer, the pool terrace plays host to an alfresco offering, whilst in the winter, a hearty bowl of soup in front of a roaring log fire is never too much trouble.

In addition, well trained bar tenders and knowledgeable sommeliers will attend to one's every need. Any drink request will be considered, even off-menu items.

Head Chef Andrew Baird's food is all about the very best of local produce as well as the abundant harvest from the manor's very own beautiful Victorian kitchen garden, which can be visited at the rear of the property. Andrew's relationship with David, the manor's forager and kitchen gardener is imperative to the quality of the food as are the strong links with local growers, fishermen and suppliers. Any items that are not grown on-site, will be sourced locally wherever possible.

Andrew's style of food is all about simplicity and flavour. It's about celebrating the produce and presenting it in an uncluttered yet appetising way. Steeped in the classical traditions of fine cuisine, the Longueville kitchen continues to innovate, stimulate and surprise guests from all over the world.

The 15th century Oak Room with its historic oak panelling is perfect for the intimate romantic evening, whilst the Garden Room is ideal for either an evening with friends and family or a professional lunch. Both can be booked online or my phone.

The final attribute of this beautiful restaurant is a wine list of over 400 bins, which complements the food and offers a comprehensive selection. The beautifully designed and imposing cellar also works as a small museum with a unique display of very rare and valuable wines. Visitors will also notice a display cabinet featuring numerous wine artefacts that have considerable sentimental value to both the hotel and its owners.
