Jersey Heritage is a local charity that protects and promotes the Island’s rich heritage and cultural environment.
The charity acts as a guardian for a number of Jersey's historical attractions:
No holiday to Jersey is complete without a visit to the War Tunnels to learn about one of the most difficult periods in the Island’s history. The Jersey War Tunnels are no ordinary museum; they are an unforgettable and moving experience, serving as a permanent reminder of the German occupation of Jersey. Dug deep into the hillside by forced and slave workers from across Europe, they now contain an underground collection of exhibits telling the story of Jersey’s 5 years of occupation, from resistance, through to virtual starvation and then eventual liberation.
Your Heritage break includes a shuttle bus from St. Helier, with hotel pick up on the early morning departure, to the Jersey War Tunnels, including a special onboard commentary by John Nettles, star of Bergerac.
Explore the fascinating Jersey War Tunnels and up to four Jersey Heritage attractions during a week of culture and history
