The Glasgow based singer-songwriter started her musical career right here in Jersey, with her first official gig supporting folk and blues legend Joan Armatrading at the Opera House. Since leaving the island, she has played in support of many musical heroes, including Utlravox’s Midge Ure and her song writing hero, Jill Jackson.
Mann’s musical style showcases her soft-yet-powerful country music voice, her insightful songwriting and the instrument at the core of her songs, the ukelele. Her music has been influenced by the grand figures of the folk and country scenes, such as Johnny Cash and James Taylor.
Stephanie Mann’s new EP, Sweethearts And Angels, will be launched at the Opera House on 8th September.
