Jersey Festival of Words 2017

Jersey’s literary festival will be staged again this autumn, with a line-up of star writers including legendary biologist, provocateur, and bestselling author Richard Dawkins.

The third Jersey Festival of Words will take place from Wednesday 27th September to Sunday 1st October.

Praised for its distinctive and friendly island character when it was launched in 2015, the festival will once again combine visiting celebrity writers in all genres with a showcase for the best of Jersey’s homegrown literary talent and a full family-friendly programme for young readers.

Venues will include the Jersey Opera House, the Jersey Arts Centre, the Jersey Library and The Maritime Museum and there will be workshops and masterclasses as well as readings, dramatisations and panel discussions in a varied festival celebrating the written word in all its forms.
